"On an island ruled by fairy tales, something has gone awry. The fairy tales are getting mixed up and no one is getting their happily ever after."
As the most skillful Poptropica adventurer, it's up to you to help! To do so, you must do these three things:
First, go to the right, until you see some VERY inconspicuous🙄 dwarves in a trench coat.
After a bit of insignificant (but funny) dialogue, they'll let you know that they need your help waking up Snow White. Accept the Side Quest, and it will take you to the castle's garden/farm. Go up until Amelia starts to tell you what's wrong. She'll tell you to find the Prince. Go up the castle steps until you see the sobbing prince.
The prince wants you to talk to his dad, the king, to get him out of getting a job. Go up the steps as far as you can. You'll see the king, and he'll show you that he is not the true monarch of the land.
He tells you that if you can tell him his name, he will stop torturing the people of the land. He then gives you some magic lipstick to help Snow White.
Go back down to where Amelia is, and tell her what happened. She'll tell you not to use it, because you should "never trust a magic dude". Instead, you must find Snow White's true love. The dwarves will tell you things she likes, but none of them are what will wake her up. You don't have to go far; head straight to the left and click on the goat. It will jump up, give Snow a big smooch, and Snow White will wake up. Turns out, she'd always wanted to be a veterinarian! She's going to live her dream!
Snow will tell you that the wannabe's name ended with the word "skin". Then, you go back to town.
When you get back to town, go to the left where Red Riding Hood is. She'll tell you that she needs to find a cabin in the forest so that she can deliver her pizza. Accept the Side Quest, and you'll find yourself in the forest. Don't worry, the silhouettes of the wolves can't hurt you. To find the cabin, go as far down as you can until you reach a platform with a dip in the middle, or you can just use this map:
When you get inside, a huntsman tells you to bring snacks to the wolf outside the cabin. You do, and he likes it. You go inside to tell him, and the wolf has followed you inside! The huntsman attempts to have the wolf eat the grandma, so that Red will like him.
You tell the huntsman to find a normal way to find a girlfriend, so he leaves to find true love. The grandma tells you that it wasn't her who ordered the pizza, meaning that someone set this all up! You see the receipt. It was bought by someone named Rumple... something. It's hard to make out. We'll have to find another clue!
Cinderella
Go back to town, then go right, past where you found the dwarves, until you see the fairy godmother. She will tell you that Cinderella won't make it to the ball. And just like that, you have one more side quest!
Go right, up the High Road, where Cinderella's carriage has gotten stuck. You're going to have to carry her up the mountain! Watch out for the slapping saplings, cat-i-corn crossing, and the giant ogre.
When you're about to cross a giant pool of mud, you fall, and Cinderella pulls together her strength to walk the rest of the way by herself. Catch up to her, but watch out for the fire-breathing dragon, as it shoots fire frequently.
When you get to the stage, this princess-turned-rebel totally transforms from "Cinderella" to "Cinder". She sings her newest song,
"Take Back Your Flipp'n Glass Slippers, 'Whatever-Stilts-Man'!"
Who knew she had it in her?
The Confrontation
You'll find yourself in the throne room, surrounded by treasure, face-to-face with the villain causing all of this madness. You tell him that you know his name. You put together the names that you collected during your journey... RUMPELSTILTSKIN!! Good ol' Rumpel seems shocked.
You say his name 3 times, and he seems weakened. But then... he starts laughing?
"Three and I'm free!" Rumpelstiltskin shouts. He expands. And expands. And expands.
Then, he disappears. You appear in front of the castle, and go talk to Amelia, our loyal friend. You tell her what happened.
Congratulations, Poptropican! You saved Fairytale Island from the evil clutches of Rumpelstiltskin!
