Fire And Ice - By Robert Frost, 1923

Some say the world will end in fire,

Some say in ice.

From what I've tasted of desire,

I hold with those who favor fire.

But if it had to perish twice,

I think I know enough of hate

To say that for destruction ice

Is also great

And would suffice.

"...That sounds dark... Kinda like the book of Revelation and the Nightosphere of Adventure Time! ...I like it!"

"I liked it too, but it sent some nasty chill down my spine just now. Is that what they mean by the power of poetry?"

"Could be. Hey, did Robert Frost make any poems that were a little more upbeat?"

"As a matter of fact, he did. Here's our other featured poem of the day, known as Fireflies in the Garden!"

Fireflies in the Garden - By Robert Frost

Here come real stars to fill the upper skies,

And here on Earth come emulating flies.

That though they never equal stars in size,

(And they were never really stars at heart)

Achieve at times a very star-like start.

Only, of course, they can't sustain the part.

"Ooh, I like THAT one! That woulda been an even BETTER poem to go on the Poptropica Blog!"

"What does it matter though? That blog doesn't exist anymore!"

"I know, but it's fun to look back on what I learned from that blog before it died."

"Well, yeah, and there's still the Poptropica Help Blog. They got ALL the Creators Blog posts archived on there sort of."
