Me: Hey, Francis! I just held a Super Mario birthday party, and I learned SO much about Super Mario!
Francis: Really now! ...Did you know that Mario was once called Jump Man?
Me: Yes I did! Jump Man was the world’s first Mario game! An arcade game in 1981 to be exact.
Francis: Sort of… Technically, the first Mario game was “Super Mario Bros” from 1985… You know, because that was the first time he was actually called Mario!
Me: Oh! ...Well, did you know that LUIGI was once called Mario?
Francis: Really now? Do tell.
Me: The world's first 2-player Mario game needed another Mario Avatar so that BOTH players could play as Mario! But they changed the colors of the 2nd Mario to prevent confusion, and then that second Mario came to be known as Mario's twin brother Luigi! ...Just like what Mario said in the Super Mario Bros. Movie! "He looks just like Mario, except he's tall and skinny and green!"
Francis: Which Mario movie might you be talking about? The 2023 Mario Extravaganza, or that shady live action “Mario Bros” movie back in 1993?
Me: Wait, there was a shady Mario Bros movie back in 1993??
Francis: ...Nevermind. Forget that I said that. Nobody's heard of THAT movie, and with good reason! It was a failed movie project with TONS of negative reviews, but the 2023 Super Mario Bros. movie masterpiece? That one's golden. I watched it with Nate and Teddy last summer, and nearly the ENTIRE legacy and history of Super Mario is all wrapped up into one cinematic work of art! It's even got Mario trivia hidden in every corner!
Me: YEAH! Mario number ONE! WAHOOOOOO!
Francis: Got any more Mario trivia for me? I could use a good challenge today.
Me: Then you’re in luck! I just created a SUPER tough Super Mario Trivia on Kahoot! after a lot of research on Mario Wiki, Wikipedia, and the nintendo website.
