Long ago, my mission was to make Poptropi-Con gameplays so I could learn EVERYTHING about my favorite Poptropica island… But I didn’t say why. I had a secret project I didn’t wanna tell. I also had too big a list of reasons to fit in my old “Protector’s Mission” post! …But this aspiring Poptropica protector (That’s me) has a new post now, so she’s ready to share her reasons!

Poptropi-Con inspired me to create my own Mighty Action Force card games! …My gameplay videos really came in handy years later when I was making demo videos for my real-life MAF games, too.
“Legendary Swords” was my favorite Poptropica side-quest, but it had no information of E. Vile’s whereabouts, nor his fate. But Poptropi-Con had an Atrium full of characters and props from “Legendary Swords”, and that Atrium inspired me to gather whatever information I could and figure it out for myself.
Poptropi-Con’s island quest was fun, but it didn’t all make sense to me. Playing that game made me wonder where Poptropi-Con’s superheroes and supervillians came from and why, especially Omegon and Alphaon. I was inspired to figure this out for myself as well.
I had just completed my Dream Island graphic novel Megatropolis Island at the time of my Poptropi-Con island gameplay filming, and I thought the comic book was so good I just HAD to make a sequel. Why not in Poptropi-Con?

Each of these reasons for Poptropi-Con filming revolved around one goal: To draw an awesome series of Poptropi-Con comics that showed off my skills, answer all my questions about the Omegon / E. Vile battles, and fortify my Dream Island adventure into a splendid kingdom!
…And my 3 Poptropi-Con gameplay videos were my best precedent study for my comics. I went back to my videos every year and every time I needed a guide for story ideas or drawing characters and scenery.

And now, after years of struggle and creativity, my 3 Poptropi-Con playthrus AND my entire series of Poptropi-Con comics are FINALLY finished! …However, there is a hitch!
In the world of my Poptropi-Con comics, I’m NOT the one who defeated Omegon when he first crashed the Con. Yes, I did in the gameplay, but that’s what EVERY Poptropican gets to do in that game! …That’s why in my comics, I say that it coulda been anybody and leave it at that.
And now that I’ve finally shared my Poptropi-Con comics with the Poptropica Help Blog, my secret project is a secret no more. If you love Superhero comics, then go check ‘em out on the “Ring’s World” section of my website. …Mission Accomplished!
