Here's the WW1 Flying Ace celebrating Thanksgiving with his brother Spike. Although the official holiday took place yesterday, they've been celebrating for 3 days now, just like the first Thanksgiving in the year 1621.
This modern 3-day celebration is what we now call Thanksgiving Break. For some people, it's a 3-day break from school. For others, it's a time to donate food to can drives for the less fortunate. Others still enjoy a Thanksgiving day parade and a Thanksgiving football game; topped with an economy-boosting shopping spree on Black Friday. There are so many ways to celebrate, and the WW1 Flying ace and his brother are thankful for them all.
And as this time of year passes and Christmastime comes, that too is something to they are thankful for. But most of all, they are thankful to be together... And that they got to watch "A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving" together, too!
