Flying Ace Farewell

Here's the WW1 Flying Ace, finding his brother at last.

After he told Spike all about his journey, he told him that he has been drafted to a new aerodrome and he has to move away.

Spike understood.  He was actually relieved to hear the news, because he was planning to move out of the desert himself!  ...The doctor told him that living in a harsh desert took a toll on his health.  Even the health of his friend, Joe Cactus!

His cactus friend has already been planted in a greener terrain, and all that's left for him is to wrap things up in the desert and take the bus home to join him.

That meant that this wasn't a goodbye after all. Soon, Spike and his Ace would soon be together again in a greener place, so they took a souvenir photo to celebrate that.

Afterwards, Spike showed the Flying Ace to the nearest bus stop and gave him a "See you soon" wave.  And like a brave rookie catching a train, the WW1 Flying Ace caught the bus back to his new home.
