Here's the WW1 flying ace, arriving safely to the border wall. Luckily for him there are no guards stationed there, so he climbs that wall while he has the chance.

As he reaches the top, he hears another gunfire. But this time he wonders where the gunfiring soldiers are, and why they're not guarding this wall. Something is a miss about this "enemy territory"...

With his war binoculars, he tracks the shooters and discovers that they're not shooting each other, but merely shooting tin cans and practice targets from far, far away.

Then he realizes that perhaps this war zone he has heard these past several days was only a western shooting range, and he wasn't in enemy territory after all. Either way, he is relieved that his brother is safe, and that he is, too, now that he's finally over the wall.
