Please note: This post is outdated, null and void. This post is for historical reference only, and Poptropica Legacy has been taken town.

Me: Amelia, is that you? What is this place? And how did YOU get here??
Amelia: Same way as you did, kid. A Secret Society of Poptropica geniuses have just invited me to join them in a brand-new Poptropica that they're building! ...Their goal is to revive and rebuild EVERYTHING Poptropica's ever had and more, better than new. They gave me a passport and a jetpack to get into this restored island, so that I can help them with their mission.

Me: ...You mean THIS jetpack?

Amelia: You see, This new Poptropica, aka, Poptropica Legacy has only BEGUN to emerge. It's just 3 weeks old, which means it's a VERY new interactive world that runs VERY slowly and is under serious construction with lots of kinks to work out... And although the Secret Society has MANY plans for inventing new Poptropica islands, it takes an incredible amount of time, resources, and collaboration... Not to mention computer science, coding, programming, debugging, and all that techno-jazz that makes an interactive webgame come to life.

Me: Webgame development? Oh, NO, I don't know ANY of that! I've been learning about 3D animation for feature films, not interactive web game programming!
Amelia: Re-LAX, kid, the Secret Society KNOWS you have a different skill set. That's why they invited you as a blogger! ...We're having a lot of trouble getting our new Poptropica name out there, but you can help with that!
Me: I can?
Amelia: Immensely. Bloggers are online news reporters that people look up to, and YOUR Poptropica blogging style is special. You don't know how many people you’ve inspired with your guest blogging on the Poptropica Creator's Blog, Ring. They'll be delighted to have you back on a NEW Poptropica blog.
Me: All right, then! It's time for me to dust off this magic wand and see what I can REALLY do!
