Hey! What's wrong with my computer?? Why is every Poptropica fan video and gameplay coming out all fuzzy-looking?!
Here's your answer: If the fan videos in question are coming from YouTube, then your computer isn't broken. Youtube has just been auto-generating a fuzzy picture quality to a lot of videos lately in an effort to save data.
But some videos NEED the HD view, like gameplays and comics. Otherwise you can't READ them! …Luckily there's an easy fix for this.
On your PC, every Youtube video has a Steamworks gear known as "Settings". All you have you have to do is click on that, select the "Quality" section, and select the highest resolution (720-1080p).
Try giving it a go on THIS video and see for yourself!
PS. As for your mobile device, the settings are a little different. The "Advanced" button directs you to the quality options, where you can choose 720-1080p, but it also helps to push the "higher picture quality" button on top of that. And if your mobile settings menu is like this one, you can automatically make ALL the videos you view on YouTube HD if you want to.
